Our team of experienced teachers and capable staff make the priority of every day to help students develop the skills necessary to succeed in all aspects of life. The Dunedin, Florida school and all Magnolia Day School locations are run with the highest level of security, instruction, education, and affordability in mind.

Infant Programs
Magnolia Day School in Dunedin offers an infant program that includes children aged 3-12 months. Following a curriculum that includes the documentation of every child’s milestones helps our team reach the goals of each child and meet the physical and emotional needs of each child. We adhere to strict teacher-to-infant ratios, affording each child the opportunity of proper individual attention in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Toddler Programs
The caregivers and teaching staff at Magnolia Day School Dunedin works hard to promote developmental milestones at a quickened pace to build momentum and progress because each toddler progresses at their own rate. Coinciding with the developmental curriculum, our skilled teaching staff focuses on allowing toddlers to learn through playing and “doing.” Toddlers are curious and tend to learn and develop by being inquisitive and trying things for themselves, so this method is the most effective for growth in toddlers.

Two & Three Year-Old Programs
At the age of 2 and 3, children thrive and grow through independent activities and trying things on their own, as well as through social activities. Two year-olds learn through small & large group play settings and repetition. Our knowledgeable teachers and caregivers focus on teaching the children to vocalize their needs and to use their words. At 3 years old, children start communicating more intensely and begin building their character, which is why the Daffer Curriculum and Character Education programs have been proven to help this age group develop more productively.

Four year-olds & VPK Programs
The Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program at Magnolia Day School highlights a daily routine of themes that children discover throughout the school year. The primary goal of this program is to prepare students for Kindergarten, including 540 instructional hours approved by the Early Learning Coalition.

The Dunedin facility conforms to the latest building codes and Pinellas County Licensing Board standards. The highest quality fire and smoke detection systems are constantly monitored, and each classroom offers direct access to the outdoors in the event of an emergency or evacuation. Security and safety are part of the Magnolia Day School mission, and helping to ensure that we achieve our goals we have installed a single door digital entry system in the Dunedin facility and at all locations. This system provides the school with detailed information regarding who enters the building using secure key cards, which are given to each of the parents and each staff member.

Developing Minds
Child care is much more than simply choosing a credible person or company to watch your child while you are not available or at work. Child care is about developing young minds and helping them prepare for a successful future.
